The Nationals’ Member for Morwell, Martin Cameron, is encouraging local community and volunteer groups to apply for the 2025-2026 Community Food Relief Program – Local Grants.
Groups eligible for funding include:
- Neighbourhood houses
- Community and volunteer-led organisations
- Social enterprises
Mr Cameron is urging eligible groups to apply, given the important work local community and volunteer groups provide across our region to people in need.
“I have visited many organisations throughout the Valley that quietly go about their business, selflessly supporting those in need during this cost-of-living crisis so many are living through,” Mr Cameron said.
“We know that the demand for food relief is increasing and it is critical that organisations are supported so they can help those in need.
“This new round of funding will help and support the work so many of our community and volunteer groups provide in our community.
“I urge all our eligible groups to consider applying for the latest round of the Community Food Relief Program.”
